Pets have always been a part of my life and the bond created between a pet and it’s human is in my book the most special of bonds.
In 2017 I adopted a rescue dog from Cyprus called Bella. She was the most beautiful of souls but sadly she died in 2021 leaving those in her wake heart broken. At around the same time a friend of mine set up a dog rescue charity rescuing dogs from Romania. And it was from this charity that some time after the passing of Bella I adopted Kerrin. A beautiful girl with the most amazing eyes who just loved to be loved. This was to be the start of my journey into pet photography. Unbeknown to me my friend had entered me as a prize in a raffle for a fund raising event for her charity. The winner was to get the prize of me photographing their beloved dog. So no pressure then! The shoot was a success and the lady was very pleased with the print of her beloved Roxy.
